Their needs for healthcare, caregiving, and emotional and cultural fulfillment require more effective and reliable solutions. If we fail to address this issue within this century, countless individuals—including ourselves and those we hold dear—will be left to struggle.

At Vitopdia, we firmly believe that technology exists to serve humanity. The advancement of technology and improvements in supply chain efficiency should not result in overly complicated, uniform tools. Instead, they should simplify powerful tools, making them more user-friendly, accessible, and affordable, reaching millions of households and better serving human needs.

The healthcare industry, however, is riddled with systemic inefficiencies: prolonged cycles for translating new technologies into products, lengthy manufacturing processes, and excessive intermediaries between production and end-users. Take electric wheelchairs, for instance—they are intended to grant users greater freedom of movement and lifestyle. Yet many of these products remain bulky, outdated in design, and prohibitively expensive when enhanced with additional features. Carbon fiber composite materials, which boast exceptional performance and are widely used in rail transit, public infrastructure, and sports products, have not been effectively applied to wheelchairs that also demand lightweight construction. As a result, lightweight wheelchairs are confined to high-end markets or limited custom orders, rather than being industrialized to benefit more people.
